Bellalogica

I am still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up.  Sometimes nutritionist or biology teacher or researcher sounds like a satisfying way to exercise my underutilized knack for science.  Other weeks I'm convinced I need to find a job with good dental benefits.  I wonder if those still exist.  Some days I think I really just want to write.  Those are the days I come here.

A Message from Andrew

I launched this website on September 16th, 2009, for Nicole's birthday.  This was Andrew's inaugural description, with a few modifications by me:

Welcome to my website! My name is Nicole d'Avis and my sweet little brother Andrew (Carlos) created this website for my birthday in 2009.  I like his description below of my life so I think I'll keep it for now.

I live in Massachusetts with my super great husband, Mark Anderson. We like plants, rocks, reggae, Oaxaca, hiking, camping, our cats, and cooking and eating delicious vegetarian food. I guess our families and friends aren't so bad, either.

One more piece of exciting news: we just became parents to amazing Clarabelle Adelaide Anderson.  She was born on December 3, 2010 at 10:58 pm at Beth Israel Hospital, weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 20 inches.  She is a joyful firecracker, has been keeping us busy and will surely become the dominant topic of this site.

I will be collecting information here on my education, experience, expertise, philosophies, and proclivities.  Sometimes I have an opinion or two so I might write about those on my blog.
